Event Log Viewer GUI in PowerShell?

I want to write a replacement for the standard XP Event Log Viewer, to prevent access to command shell via the Menus, e.g. Help.

Any idea if there is prior work for Event Log scripting and/or GUI that I could use to get started?

Thanks,

PD

Thanks. I will try this module import/export tool.

I also just found the new OneGet feature in Windows Management Framework V5 Preview. It looks like a good solution for getting "net new" modules not on any of my PCs or VMs.

PowerShell Studio 2014 doesn't list my Vexasoft Module info

I am a Powershell newbie, so apologies in advance for rookie questions. I am trying to understand why my Powershell version 4, on Windows 7 doesn't list the Storage module, per a previous post. While investigating, I discovered that the standard PowerShell ISE lists my Vexasoft PowerShell module Cmd...

How to Add PowerShell 4 Storage module cmdlets to 'Win7/PS3?

I am evaluating PowerShell Studio (PSS) 2014, and fully intend to buy ASAP. I am writing a PowerShell 4 script that is targeted for a Win 8.1 environment (actually a WinPE 5.1 built from Win 8.1.) In the PSS 2014 Object Browser, I can't find any of the Storage module Cmdlets, like Get-Partition. I b...

Re: PS Studio 2014 Eval on WinPE 5.1; ps1/psf OK, exe fails

I got it to work by targeting Windows 8.1. WinPE 5.1 is built from the WADK from that version of Windows, so I guess it sorts out the .NET Framework 4.5 requirement that the original .exe was complaining about.

All is well. I'll be ordering on Monday after a quick demo to the boss.

PS Studio 2014 Eval on WinPE 5.1; ps1/psf OK, exe fails

I am testing PowerShell Studio 2014 for developing a dism script and UI for OS Deployment. The target OS is Windows PE 5.1, x86. I can run several of the Sapien Sample .ps1/.psf files, and some I have written. But when I build the Dr. F. Rios YouTube "GetProcess" demo as an .exe it fails with a .NET...
