Ahhh, may have a double whammy there. We moved so I decided to rename my system and i believe a recent update was fairly large for windows 10... so im guessing that the best thing to do is to deacvtivate the old name of my machine... not sure why i have 2 activations though... i will have to figure ...

I agree with you Alexander, This is why to be certain, I temporarily disabled the anti-virus to test the update/uninstall, in addition I reinstalled our enterprise copy of Malwarebytes to verify that it did not detect anything out of the ordinary, which it didn't. The version installed was 4.2.86 the version I am trying to install is 4.2.89

This was a fresh install (rip and replace of the hard drive and installation of all software.)

Thanks for the quick reply,I made sure to get rid of those directories and tried the install again. Failed and rolled back again. As for the firewall, I cannot disable it since it is controlled via the GPO. I would have to move it out of its OU and put it somewhere else, Not difficult to do since I ...
