I'm looking to run this command in a script if certain conditions are met all that is fine however, due to the Windows 7 secuirty options, I get access denied. When we convert our vbs files to exe in PriamlScript they always show a DOS window is there an way to stop this window from showing?

Thanks for that however it only seems to search the top level of C: for the exe and does not go down in the folder. For example: $strComputers = Get-Content -Path "C:temphostnames.txt" [bool]$firstOutput = $true foreach($strComputer in $strComputers) { dir $strComputerc$Outlook.exe -Recurse | ft }

I'm having a small issue with the code below looping though the txt file reutrning all exes works fine. However, I just want search the whole of each remote C: drive for just ONE exe file and if it is found return the hostname, filename and version to the CSV. Thank you in advance for the help.   $...
