Re: Offline Installer Needed

No much we can't do here!

You need to ask your organization network administrator to give you access to that environment.
Or, give the script to the owner of that environment to test it for you.

Re: Passing arguments to Job

First, the sample code provided works. You can download the sample code at: https://www.sapien.com/blog/2019/05/01/new-video-handling-progress-with-a-background-job-in-a-gui-application/ Variables $Arg1 and $Arg2 will be substitute by the Argumentlist in the order you place your other variables: Arg...

Re: Passing arguments to Job

Simply, the ArgumentList variable is an array type, so you can a list of arguments separated by a comma.

Example:

Code: Select all

ArgumentList = ($Path, $SearchFilter)

Re: Connecting to an untrusted domain with credentials

It's possible to use ODBC drivers and you'll probably need to set it in both server and your desktop system. Unfortunate, it need some additional work.

This is why some time is better to use the SQL Server Authentication.

Re: Connecting to an untrusted domain with credentials

No worries! It's been awhile since I work using a workgroup user on an untrusted domain. So, I got the steps for you: If you want to connect from your dev client machine: 1. Open "ODBC Data Source Administrator (64 bit)". 2. At the "User DSN" tab, click on the "Add" button. 3. Then, select the SqlSe...

Re: Connecting to an untrusted domain with credentials

Thanks for your response! So, it's PrimalSQL connection strings. Have you tried using the untrustedComputerName\username with the password in the connection string? I would suggest to use a SQL Server authentication. As this is a dev server, then it shouldn't be a problem to use mixed-authentication...

Re: Connecting to an untrusted domain with credentials

I forgot to ask... Is this on a PowerShell script? Can you post a sample of the script?
