Re: unable to display variable data in text box

I got it to work perfectly now in GUI, thanks for all the help :D What was your mistake? By the way the code you said you ran in the CLI wouldn't run in a CLI which is what made me confused. I recommend trying to ask a simple question with only the basic bits. Long explanations are not useful as qu...

Re: Progress bar when running PS cmdlet

You can't with the AD module because it will be preloaded by the time the form executes. Import-Ad only takes a sedcond or less. If you import it on the froms "Shown" even then you may get a ProgressBar on slower computers but you won't get it on the "Load" even or earlier.

Re: unable to display variable data in text box

An addendum: You cannot edit text and turn into an array of parameters. Guessing will not work. You must first learn both PowerShell and WinForms as well as a deeper understanding of AD CmdLets.

You say the code works in ISE as you possted it but that is clearly impossible.

Re: PS Studio .EXE exits while script is still running in the background

Don't use the silent engine. Read the link I posted which will give you all of the options for the different engines and how to use them.

The point of a silent engine is that it has no console at all so there is no way to freeze the console.
