Recognising AD module

Hi, I had RSAT and PS 2017 installed on my win7 box and when coding, PS recognised all my AD cmdlets with intellisense etc. I am now migrating to a win10 box and have installed PS and RSAT but PS wont recognise the AD modules. They appear grey instead of light blue. Am I missing a step? Thanks David

What currency for renewal?

Hi,
When I click on the links from my renewal email it displays the renewal price. What currency is this? And if its USD, how would I get the exact AUD equivalent for my purchase order? Can I get the price in AUD?

Thanks
David

Re: Windows 10

After your suggestion with the debugging, with Windows 10 I get start-process: this command cannot be run due to the error: The requested operation requires elevation. Start-Process "C:\Program Files\Desktop\DesktopPowershellAPPS\RADIA 91 Console.exe" -Credential $cred Just a thought - It is good t...

Subexpression automation in strings

Greetings, I am often copying and pasting object properties into strings. So I might start with "User []" and then paste in the property which becomes "User [$textboxUser.Tag.Name]" but then I have to manually change this to "User [$($textboxUser.Tag.Name)]". It would be nice to just highlight the v...

No matter - in reality they will probably have closed all child forms and just leave the main form open so what you have proposed is awesome and works a treat.
Thanks
Joe

Re: Close Application on inactive timeout

Thanks really cool solution - I'm guessing that if I just put the timer tick event on the main form then the close would also close any child form they had opened? Just tried it and no it doesnt close both child and main forms. Is there any way in the parent form that it can detect and close open c...
