Looking for Critics

It seems you have plenty of Sub/Functions which seems to be a rare thing, but definitely a good thing. Imbedding credentials in a script

Depending on the info you're trying to get you might be able to get it with WMI and the SWbemLocator object will allow you to access it with alternate credentials. I am sure you will find plenty of examples if you search for WbemScripting.SWbemLocator and ConnectServer.

VBS to EXE script does not run

What engine did you package it with (cscript, wscript, sapien commandline, sapien host)? How do you determine the path of the text file to be created? How are you executing the .exe when you are testing?

Idle Time

Will this be running on a users PC? If so, then you may create a scheduled task that executes "when idle" for 15 minutes or whatever you choose.

Filtering Getex data from a Group

So I tried looking and it seems JVierra's post must have been deleted or never got transitioned to this forum when it was updated. You can also take a look at this: http://www.rlmueller.net/DocumentLargeGroup.htm

trouble with a script

The way the script is currently setup you need to provide the full path of the file and can not use something like .somefile.txt A quick workaround would be something like this Option Explicit If WScript.Arguments.Count > 0 Then     GetFileDetails WScript.Arguments.Item(0) End If Sub GetFileDetails(...

trouble with a script

Yeah, the spaces would look fine if you ran this script from the command line using cscript.exe. There is no way to change the font on that window that pops up either. Option Explicit >> it means you have to declare all your variables. i.e. Dim objFSO

trouble with a script

If you're trying to get the info from a file you drag over your script...something like this may work. Option Explicit If WScript.Arguments.Count > 0 Then     GetFileDetails WScript.Arguments.Item(0) End If Sub GetFileDetails(strFilePath)     Dim objFSO : Set objFSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSys...

Files Not Modified for X Days

There is no line 42 if I copy the code you posted above. If I specify an UNC path it works just fine for me too.
