WIndows XP service pack 3 is the operating system. The desktop support people installed the product, and I'm not sure what they did. I can reinstall it if I need to

Version is 4.1 standard. Since I can't get into the product, I don't have a way of getting the build number.

unable to determine license status

I get the message "unable to determine license status" and PrimalScript shuts down when I try to access the app. We've just moved it onto this PC. Since the app won't stay up I can't check to see what key it was installed with.
What needs to happen to get this app working??
