Suggestion: XML breadcrumbs

If you hover the cursor over an element or attribute, it will display the object's XPath. The only difference is that it appears on a tooltip instead of the status bar. Thanks for the tip. I'd still like my request to be considered as it may help when keyboarding around instead of mousing around (a...

Suggestion: XML breadcrumbs

I'd like to suggest (what I hope is a small) feature for PrimalXML - a breadcrumb string in some sort of status bar. This would simply have the path for whatever element the cursor is in. It would show something like: /project/configuration/settings If I'm in the settings element of the below XML do...

Diff in PrimalXML

Thanks - I think my eye had been skipping over that portion of the ribbon thining that it had to do only with formatting type stuff... Anyway that's my excuse. A couple of quick comments based on an initial diif: 1) I'd like to be able to simply chose an already open file to compare against instead ...

Diff in PrimalXML

I'd like to do a diff on 2 files I have open in PrimalXML (I'm running in trial mode at the moment in case that matters); when I bring up the Diff ribbon all of the items are disabled - how do I initiate a diff between the 2 files that are open in PrimalXML (or any kind of diff for that matter)?

Feature request: word wrap

Word wrap is a tool. If a user finds it counterproductive, they can choose not to use it. But the capability should be in the editor. At least a 'soft wrap' like the one Ken K. showed in the Notepad++ screenshots.

Mildly annoying CAPTCHA on my.sapien.com

When logging on to the registered user download page on my.sapien.com, a CAPTCHA needs to be entered even if you already have an account with a userid and password. This is the only site I've come across that needs a CAPTCHA when logging on to an existing account. It's not a huge deal, since I only ...

PrimalScript 2007 Trial

So if you selected them all, they all have "Edit with PrimalScript" to them. The default "open" and "edit" verbs are not changed by the installer or the Customization wizard.I didn't change any of the setting on that page, because I thought that it wouldn't change assoc...

PrimalScript 2007 Trial

First off, congratulations on the PS 2007 release - it looks quite nice. Now, with that out of the way... I now wish I had been quicker to respond to the beta invitation. I've downloaded the trial, and ran into a crasher while playing with the debugger. I opened PrimalScript's sample GetCharSet.vbs a...

Option for the Home key

Visual Studio, for example, uses this exact same behavior (and I don't believe it's configurable there, either)Of course you can configure the behavior of the Home key (and pretty much any key) in Visual Studio. At some point, with something as complex as an IDE, you have to retrain yourself, rathe...
