Remember that a try/catch will only work on terminating errors. As jvierra mentioned, you can add the -erroraction to a cmdlet or you can set all errors to terminate by using the $erroractionpreference variable.

Check if an item in a combobox already exists

Hi all,

What's the best way to see if an item already exists in a Combobox before adding it? I've tried

foreach ($obj in $Combobox.Items)

as well as $Combobox.FindString

Both don't seem to work. This may be simple but there's not much information on Google on how to do it.

Debug option greyed out

Hi, I'm using the latest version of Powershell Studio and I'm keen to use the debug however the buttons are geyed out (all except Breakpoints and Tracepoints). What could possibly be the reason for this? I've set breakpoints and tried on multiple files however the open to debug is still greyed out. ...
