Re: Textbox Output

I don't believe the function is the issue. There is no errors being thrown. Its clearly grabbing the correct data, but adding in the non-bold parts. C -System.Windows.Forms.TextBox, Text: Test .Text This issue is very similar to the below. We just need to put this into a GUI to hand off. https://www...

Re: Textbox Output

Hi Jvierra,

$username contains the stored value of the output of my function. The value when using PowerShell_ISE is "CTest". However, when writing it to a textbox in PowerShell Studio it is C-System.Windows.Forms.TextBox, Text: Test.Text. I'm trying to figure out how to display it correctly.

Setting counter correctly

I have a multi-form app I am working on. I have a picturebox in the middle of the main form that I update from the child form. I have 40 images I am sorting through named "Pic1.jpg" through "Pic40.jpg" (need to restart from 1 when I go over 40). I need to update the picturebox every time I hit a but...

Re: Keep child form open and append data to main form

Thanks jvierra, what would you recommend using on PS studio instead of richtextbox for displaying this data? Looks like I'm going to have to forget the auto-scrolling. When I click submit on my child form, I delete clear the previous string in the textbox and insert the next one however I need to th...

Re: Keep child form open and append data to main form

Got it to work, thank you! I just have one more final question about the form. I'm currently appending the text from the child form to the main forms richtextbox. I need to center the newly appended text both horizontally and vertically in the box, so it is literally in the center of the richtextbox...

Re: Keep child form open and append data to main form

Thanks jvierra! The reason I'd like to do this is because I will be presenting what is on the main form so I don't need to touch it per say. The objective is to be able to use the child form on a different screen (2 screen setup) and update (append) the next line of text to the richtextbox on the ma...
