Tue Nov 10, 2020 11:23 am Re: Automated Package Build Tue Nov 10, 2020 11:23 am Re: Automated Package Build
With the latest service release (5.7.182), there is no way to build from the command line.
As we have now received multiple requests for this, we are working on a solution to build a project or form from the command line. This should be included in the next service release of PowerShell Studio. - 2 Been upvoted

Tue Nov 24, 2020 2:29 am Re: No modules pwsh 7.1 Tue Nov 24, 2020 2:29 am Re: No modules pwsh 7.1
PowerShell 7.1 is not supported yet. It uses the new .NET 5.0. Basically it means we need to rebuild, recompile and retest everything, which takes time.
It will be supported in an upcoming service release. - 2 Been upvoted

Tue Oct 20, 2020 7:02 am Convert exe to Powershell Tue Oct 20, 2020 7:02 am Convert exe to Powershell
Hi
I built an exe from the powershell script using Powershell Studio about 2 years back. I need to make a change to the script and do not seem to find the original Script I used. Can you help in converting .exe to a script.
Thanks in advance - 1 Been upvoted

The old .NET framework from 2017 does not support more modern protocols.

Packaging scripts is, among other purposes, intent to keep prying eyes from the code. While this is not an absolutely unbreakable mechanism (we never claimed that), it keeps the casual observer from messing with code. Thu Mar 04, 2021 1:11 pm Re: How to see the whole script Thu Mar 04, 2021 1:11 pm Re: How to see the whole script
The only way to see the whole script is to export for psf file into a ps1 file (Deploy->Export). This was done to prevent modifying the generated form code while using the designer. - 1 Been upvoted

Current licensing is perpetual. If you let maintenance expire your will not get updates and support,
but the software will keep working and any produced executables will keep running.

It is odd that PrimalScript stays activated when PowerShell Studio is not. The failure to communicate stems from the older .NET framework using an outdated protocol. When using SAPIENCommandLine.exe, you need to specify a ps1, psf, or project file. The psbuild file only needs to be in the same directory but does not need to be passed directly. - 1 Been upvoted
