You ignored the most basic issue. Use a DataTable and filter that. Your code is not very good, and I do not know of any programmer that would try to code a filter like that. What property are you calling the "ValuMemberr". Tat is only availab;e after a change takes place.
TO get teh value in the "Combo's text display box" use the "Text" property.
