WMI Explorer 2014: Find, Search and Filter

When I originally designed the new version of the WMI Explorer I only wanted to add Find functionality. You know, like you do in any text editor. Type in an expression, it jumps to the first occurrence and the you hit Next, Next, Next until you get where you want to be. WMI Explorer 2014: Connect to remote computers.

As promised here are some more details on the new version of the WMI Explorer. One of the main flaws of the old versions was that it only worked on the current machine. With the 2014 version you can connect to any other computer in your network. Of course you will have to make sure you have sufficient rights to access WMI remotely. Just click on the connect button the first time you connect to a remote machine. Enter the remote machine’s name and add your user id and password. That’s it. WMI Explorer 2014 is now officially released as of April 17th 2014.
