Last month I had the pleasure to talk about SAPIEN products and PowerShell while traveling across Europe and Asia. I’m grateful and appreciate everyone who made my travel safe and interesting.
The Tour Visits
October 10th, 2018 (Wednesday)
London – PowerShell Day UK at the CodeNode offices and the London PowerShell User Group meetup at William Blake Pub.
SAPIEN Technologies was proud to be part of this event attended by more than 80 people.
This event has the potential to grow in the future as I saw many enthusiastic attendees eager to learn about PowerShell in the DevOps arena.
After the event, I had the opportunity to talk about SAPIEN Technologies products and gave my presentation on “PowerShell Core – working with SQL Server Management Objects (SMO) Cross-platform” for the London PowerShell User Group meetup at the William Blake Pub.
Thanks to Daniel Krebs, Jaab Brasser, and the organizers for assisting me during my stay in London.
If you live in London, feel free to join the London PowerShell User Group Meetup.
October 11th, 2018 (Thursday)
Amsterdam – Dutch PowerShell User Group meeting at the Rubrik Offices.
From London, I flew the next morning to Amsterdam to attend the Dutch PowerShell User Group that evening. I talked about SAPIEN Technologies products and gave my presentation on “Intro to using PowerShell for Building Cloud VM’s in Azure” along with guest speakers Steve Lee, and Bartek Bielawski.
Once again, thanks to Jaap Brasser for setting up the meeting at this group.
If you live in Amsterdam, feel free to check out the Dutch PowerShell User Group for upcoming meetings.
October 15th, 2018 (Monday)
Oslo – Azure User Group Norway at the Intility Offices.
This is a very active Azure user group, and I was thankful for all 25+ attendees that attended. I talked about SAPIEN products and gave my presentation on “PowerShell Core – JumpStart to Building Cloud VM with Azure Resource Management.”
Thanks to Jan Egil Ring, Martin Ehrns, and Ane Ognøy Lægland for setting up the meeting for this venue.
If you live in Oslo, feel free to reach out and join the Norway Azure User Group meetup.
October 18th-20th, 2018 (Thursday-Saturday)
Singapore – PowerShell Conference Asia.
This was the final stop of the tour and my second visit to Singapore. I felt comfortable enough to know my way around the city.
On Thursday I hosted the SAPIEN Technologies “Creating GUI Application with PowerShell Studio” workshop, and on Saturday I gave my presentation on “PowerShell Core – working with SQL Server Management Objects (SMO) Cross-platform.”
It was nice to see everyone again, sharing knowledge and information about our SAPIEN Technologies products, and talking about PowerShell.
Thanks to Milton Goh, Jaap Brasser, Sebastian Szumigalski and all the other organizers for having us at this event.
Please, feel free to follow upcoming announcements at PowerShell Conference Asia.
