Want to learn PowerShell? Let me rephrase that—you *need* to learn PowerShell—it’s not a question anymore. If you are a Microsoft software or network administrator of any sort, you need to know PowerShell and, if you haven’t started yet, we have the perfect suggestion for you. This summer, Concentrated Tech is offering two sessions of three classes each that “meet” online once per week for three weeks. Taught by PowerShell expert and author Don Jones who, coincidentally, also wrote SAPIEN’s PowerShell book and created some of SAPIEN’s training materials, each course will include presentations, Q&A, demonstrations, and even code reviews. A lot will be packed into these courses and, as you might expect, you will have homework to work on during the week (hey, it’s summer school!).
There are three sessions or tracks to choose from:
- Learn PowerShell Toolmaking: learn patterns and practices for building reusable and maintainable tools
- Practical PowerShell in Depth: using six real-work assignments, review the code and discuss approaches to solving them
- How to Teach PowerShell in a Month of Lunches: if you want to learn to teach PowerShell in your organization, this class is the one for you!
We are pleased that Don has chosen to use SAPIEN’s PrimalScript 2012 and PowerShell Studio 2012 for his demos. Students taking these classes will receive a special discount on the purchase of our software.
