iPowerShell is SAPIEN’s FREE PowerShell reference tool for iPhone/iPad/iPod users. This week, we have submitted our latest build to the App Store for release.
iPowerShell version 2.1.107 includes a host of new features. Of primary importance is the support for iOS 4.2 on all iOS devices. This means multi-taking aware, Airprint (for supported printers) and Airplay (currently only for audio streams.) We have also added more cmdlets, and a few other items. Below is a list of all of the new features in this build.
- iOS 4.2 multi-tasking.
- iOS 4.2 Basic Printing with AirPrint (on supported printer hardware).
- iOS 4.2 Basic AirPlay (currently Airplay only streams audio track from 3rd party videos).
- Play .mov, .mp4 and .m4v videos by adding them in the File Sharing panel of the Apps page in iTunes.
- Displays thumbnail preview of videos in iPad.
- Retina display compatible artwork.
- Added the following cmdlet libraries:
- Active Directory Management
- Background Intelligent Transfer
- Best Practices
- Group Policy
- IIS
- Applocker
- Troubleshooting
- Windows Server Manager
- Quest Active Roles
- Active Directory Rights Management

so…… Microsoft has this new phone out with a Market Place…. any chance of a port?
We are looking into that. Unfortunately, Microsoft has not released sales figures on that device, so it is difficult for us to gauge whether it is worth the time and effort on our part. But it IS under consideration.
