Back from TechEd: Do I still need to learn VBScript?
Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 by Alex Riedel
Many of you folks came by our booth at TechEd and asked about our PowerShell training options. Inevitably the question about learning VBScript came up: "With all the power of PowerShell, why do I need to learn VBScript?" If you pose this question to any language fan boy it usually turns into a discussion about which language is better. But it isn't a question of better or worse. It's not a competition. Some of us remember the discussions about C vs. Pascal, C vs. C++ vs. Delphi, C# vs. C++ or, last but not least, Java vs. all other languages.…   More »

SAPIEN MVP and Teaching Partner Program
Friday, January 29th, 2010 by Alex Riedel
In the past we we have provided no-cost NFR licenses of PrimalScript or any other SAPIEN product upon request to Microsoft MVPs if they were working in a field related to scripting or Windows administration. The same applied to MCTs, as long as they provided us with their MCT number. It has become more and more obvious that this is unjust towards the many professionals and teachers in the field who promote and use SAPIEN software without becoming a Microsoft MVP or MCT. So we are no longer providing these NFR copies just because you are a Microsoft MVP or…   More »

Classes will be held at in the friendly offices of Quest Software, but space is limited because these are very intense, hands-on sessions. If you've been putting off getting training, don't wait any longer. This is the most unique training event I think you'll ever experience.   More »
